Hi, I'm Stuart Lade and I run Mountain Independence. I'm based in Llanberis, Snowdonia, where I predominantly offer rock climbing and scrambling here in the summer, and ice climbing in Norway and Scotland in the winter time. As well as being an instructor, I also train and assess instructors in the Climbing Wall Instructor, Rock Climbing Instructor and Mountain Leader qualification award schemes of which many folk on here will have had to pass through. I'm a keen climber myself, and love nothing more than sharing awesome adventures with nice folk. We're also pretty unique, in that we have a private space that we can meet in the mornings to make plans for the day over a decent cup of coffee right on the high street in Llanberis. We offer many open courses on our website, but find many folk are keen to arrange bespoke dates and itineraries tailored to their needs which we're more than happy to do.
